Shekida Harris-McCoy was raised in Antigua in a Christian home and church and graduated from the Antigua State College. At the age of 23, she surrendered her life to the Lord. Shekida began to work full-time at CRL in January 2025 and says she wanted to work at the Lighthouse because “it is a beautiful opportunity to contribute to sharing the Gospel worldwide”. She currently assists with announcing, production, and audio editing. She and her husband, Emmanuel, were married in 2023 and have one daughter, Grace. They are members of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Willikies, Antigua, where she’s involved with the choir and children’s ministry.
