Pastor Denfield Hastings, Jr. grew up in a Christian home in Antigua, and came to know the Lord as his Saviour at the All Saints Baptist Church’s children’s church at the tender age of seven. Pastor Hastings married his wife, Joy-Ann, and moved to her home country of St. Maarten, where he served alongside his father-in-law, Pastor Erick van Arneman, at the Grace International Baptist Church. In 2021, Pastor Hastings and his family returned to Antigua. He has since earned a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Veritas Baptist College and will soon complete his Master’s degree at the same university. Pastor Hastings now serves as the senior pastor at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Willikies, Antigua with his wife and two young children. In October 2024, we were blessed to have him join the Lighthouse staff, where his primary duties are announcing, editing, and producing programs.
